Color to the Navajo Tribe is very important to their culture. Each color represents a different mountain to define the location of where the Navajo homeland is located. Each color also represents the time of day and direction. The color black represents the Hesperus Peaks, the north, and night time. The color white represents the Blanca Peaks, the east, and dawn. The color blue represents Mount Taylor, daytime, and the south. And finally, the color yellow represents the San Fransisco Peaks, dusk, and the west. The last image shows the research behind the created logo design.
